In Myanmar and Cambodia press freedom is being restricted again. And social media, once seen as strengthening freedom of expression, is being misused for hate speech and fake news.

Governments use this for further restrictions. In Malaysia these efforts have backfired and the change in government opened new spaces. How do journalists cope with these challenges?
